When life reaches a point of genuine crisis, something protective sometimes arrives alongside it. The square on the life line is that protection made visible, a containing boundary that limits the damage, holds the difficulty within manageable parameters, and creates the conditions in which genuine recovery becomes possible. When this card appears, you are either in that protected space already or approaching a period where withdrawal, containment, and the prioritisation of safety over normal functioning will be both necessary and ultimately restorative.
